Brick & Bourbon

Overview

Brick & Bourbon in Maple Grove, Minnesota, has quickly become one of my favorite spots to unwind after a long day. Nestled at 7887 Elm Creek Blvd N, Maple Grove, MN 55369, United States, this restaurant perfectly balances a relaxed, inviting atmosphere with thoughtfully crafted dishes. From the moment you step in, the warm lighting, rich wooden accents, and subtle hints of industrial design make it feel both modern and comfortably familiar, which instantly sets the tone for a memorable dining experience.

What strikes me most about Brick & Bourbon is their dedication to quality ingredients and attention to detail. On a recent visit, I tried their smoked brisket sandwich, paired with a side of truffle fries. The brisket was slow-cooked to perfection, tender and smoky, and the seasoning was balanced without overpowering the natural flavors. The truffle fries were crisp yet soft on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. I’ve visited several diners and bistros across Minnesota, and few manage to capture this level of consistency and flavor depth.

Their menu is diverse, offering everything from hearty breakfast options to dinner specials, ensuring that there’s something for everyone. One standout item is their handcrafted cocktails, which are carefully curated with premium spirits. The bourbon selection, in particular, is impressive, featuring both well-known labels and rare finds. Their mixologists clearly understand how to balance flavors, combining classic techniques with a creative twist. I remember trying a smoked maple old-fashioned that had just the right hint of sweetness without being overwhelming-a true testament to their expertise.

What adds to the charm of this location is its accessibility and thoughtful layout. The seating arrangements allow for both intimate conversations and larger gatherings, which is rare in many modern restaurants. On weekends, the lively ambiance and soft background music create a welcoming environment without ever feeling chaotic. The staff is another highlight; their professionalism and knowledge of the menu elevate the dining experience. They not only make recommendations based on your taste preferences but also explain cooking methods and ingredient sourcing, which adds an educational dimension to your visit.

Beyond just personal experiences, Brick & Bourbon has earned attention in local reviews and food publications for its consistent quality and innovative approach to American cuisine. Data from consumer reviews suggests that diners consistently rate the food, drinks, and service above 4.5 out of 5 stars, which reflects the restaurant’s commitment to maintaining high standards. Several local food critics have praised the combination of comfort food classics with gourmet enhancements, highlighting dishes like the roasted chicken and hand-cut steaks.

Visiting Brick & Bourbon also offers a glimpse into the broader trends in modern American dining. Restaurants today are increasingly focusing on transparency in sourcing, seasonal ingredients, and unique flavor profiles. By implementing these practices, Brick & Bourbon not only satisfies casual diners but also engages food enthusiasts who are interested in culinary craftsmanship. Their attention to presentation, paired with approachable portions, shows a thoughtful balance between aesthetics and practicality.

In my experience, what keeps people coming back is the subtle attention to detail-from the perfectly aged bourbon to the handcrafted sauces accompanying each dish. The combination of high-quality ingredients, knowledgeable staff, and inviting ambiance makes this restaurant more than just a place to eat; it’s an experience that educates your palate while offering comfort and enjoyment. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite, meeting friends for a night out, or exploring new flavors, Brick & Bourbon proves itself as a staple in Maple Grove’s culinary scene.

I really enjoyed this place, I went in on a Tuesday, and let me tell you it was busy. So make sure to make reservations. Waited about 15 min and went and sat at the bar! I totally forgot the name of my waitress but she was amazing! Their food is well packed in flavors in every bite! Definitely worth checking out ! I ordered me their walleye and Cajun fries!

Dinner time 7ish-pm was your typical busy, luckily they were able to get two of us seated right away. The place is quite dark but if that’s your vibe, even better for you. Place is absolutely beauitful inside. The wings were juicy, got the mango habanero. Wished it was more savory and had a spicier kick, it overall was just sweet. I got the reaper burger, it had good seasoning, again, for the name and spices involved, having a kick would have been nice. Husband got the next day burger, it was delicious. The gravy was my favorite touch. We actually traded burgers, lol. Great place overall.

Food and atmosphere is so much fun and amazing. Especially for a first time visit. Service has been top notch every time and they have a good selection of bourbon and whiskey. It gots about 15 bourbons and around 8-10 whiskeys plus more options but even that’s a general gist to help you get an idea of what more could be here. Food is super rich and full of flavor. I feel like each time I’ve been here the food has really hit the spot and it’s a place u should take someone to. They have pull tabs here as well if u wanna partake in that while u watch a sports game on their big screens. Price wise it can be a bit more on the higher end so be prepared for that. I’ve done an app and 2 entrees as well as desert and 3 alcohol drinks which has usually cost me 130 on average usually. So keep this in mind. Outside of that a wonderful place worth a stop for

Ok, I was on a business trip in the Minneapolis area, and the group, consisting of 15 of us, ate here on Wednesday night 10/15. Fantastic atmosphere and amazing food. I ordered the cedar planked stuffed salmon. To die for. 10/10. My drink was so good I ordered another one. I think it was called a "Smoked maple bourbon" something. The fact that I drank 2 of them could have something to do with why I can't remember the name of it, or of any of the appetizers that we all shared. All I can say is that everything was delicious. And even with 2 drinks, my bill was under $85.

This place is absolutely fantastic! I have been there a few times and have never been disappointed with my service, food, or wait time. I took my fiancée there for his first time and he was blown away with how delicious it was. So much flavor and the food was cooked perfectly. Our waitress was checking on us frequently and making sure our drinks and food were good. I can’t say anything bad about this place at all.

This was our first time at a brick and bourbon location. We’ve always noticed it’s so busy. The service was great and their restaurant was extremely clean. We each enjoyed a different plate. The barbecue was very tender juicy and the barbecue sauce was excellent. Our server was very kind and nice. It had a very nice rustic interior. The restrooms were also clean. Overall, we had a great experience at brick and Bourbon and will be back.

Staff was fantastic! Our waiter Ryan was really attentive and extremely nice. The food was great, especially the fries . I appreciated having the option to eat outside, and we walked in and got a table right away. The place is very anesthetically pleasing and clean.

Our friends brought us here for the first time tonight.! I’m so impressed with how the oil care of us. My lobster Mac and cheese was a tad cold and instead of just giving us a new one they took it off our bill and the manager came to our able to apologize! We live in Shakopee and I would come back to this location in a heartbeat! The waiter we had was Ryan and having been in customer service my whole career and the service was beyond top notch! Thank you for an amazing experience at your restaurant! Good a drinks were so great!
